Wanna feel older?

A web page with the old D&D ads that ran in comic books.

I recall them fondly. Green Slime! Its touch means instant death!

I also remember, when they came out, looking back a few months to see if there was an earlier clip.

I didn't remember that the first series of D&D comics was set in the ruins of Zenopus castle. That's an old school reference to the sample dungeon from the Holmes edition Basic Set from 1977, the first one I owned and played.

And Indel really is the Chekov of those stories.

Overthinking things much, I ask myself?

"What on Earth could he mean? In what way does Indel represent Anton Chekov? Is it his central place in the broken narrative of short stories? What could he mean?"
