Sitting on the loveseat in the sitting room, hoping that the muscle relaxants kick in and the spasms in my back subside long enough for me tho get sons sleep.
It isn't very intense pain, but it falls on me like waves. There's no position where it will stop. The remedy suggested by the telehealth nurse, lying on my side and applying a cold pack, proved useless.

Back to the grindstone tomorrow.
The past couple weeks have been fairly intense, and not quite the relaxing time off we'd been hoping for.
The trip out east for the memorial went well, and gave Cynra some tme with her family.
This weekend was fairly restive, and we got to visit some friends in Kay Dub for Avatar and several games of Race For the Galaxy. It does play a lot faster when everyone knows the rules.
I'm fairly exhausted right now. Hopefully a good night's rest will help put things straight.

But how the hell have we been together for almost a decade (we moved in together superbowl Sunday 1999) and I learn only now that she's never seen Goodfellas?
I mean, I thought we'd watched it together. At least, you know, fragments here and there. But no.
