According to Rapture Ready.com's Rapture Index, it appears to have happened in late September 2001, because the index has been winding down since then.

I'm just curious, because they seem to change what's ON the index. In '93, it was Less Civil Rights at 24, but now it's Iran.

And they had the Greenhouse Effect at 45, but now they don't believe in it anymore.

Innerresting, in any case.

According to the bible, when Christ left almost 2000 years ago he told his followers to be ready for he would be coming again for them. Therefore in every age people have expected it to be their time because of the bad things happening and certain signs. Hitler was supposed to be the anti-Christ and so have numerous other hated figures of mass destruction. With no specific timeline people have been hoping that they are lucky enough to witness it or more to the point of significant enough importance that they got to live in the time of the end of the world. That will be a sell-out performance for sure.

I think Jesus should have booked a date with his buddies before he left. Maybe they could have gotten him a two millenium dayplanner for his birthday. That's the least they could do, after all it does fall on Christmas.
