Okay, I've never read any of his stuff, but after something [livejournal.com profile] cargoweasel mentioned, I looked up The Wodehouse Society.

Because there is some vital part of his soul that seems to still be a 19th century bookkeeper (he HARUMPHS! In everyday conversation! And calls things "jolly"!), whereas you seem much more 'posh' (as in the spice girl, but different).
